Hello! I was born in the Philippines and came to the U.S. when I was six. With a dad in the Navy, we lived in Hawaii, Virginia, and finally California. I graduated from Sweetwater High (go, Red Devils!) and University of San Diego (yay, Toreros!). I got my Master’s from National University with a specialization in Reading.
I taught 2nd grade for 8 years at Kellogg, 4 years in Kinder at Kellogg. Then, I moved to Otay and taught 4th grade for two years there before hopping over to Rosebank. This is my fourth year teaching 4th grade here with the Panthers!
I enjoy riding bikes, running, traveling, trying new recipes in the kitchen, reading, hanging at the beach, and watching movies. But my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family: my husband Tony and three kids, Zoe, 13, Mikada, 11, and Xander, 6. I can’t wait to get to know more about all of you! 🙂
NICE MEETING YOU MRS. KING😊
