Greetings, Rosebank families! I hope you are enjoying your weekend. We had a great first week back after Spring Break. The class is enjoying some good learning days and are working very hard already.

Weekend Homework – Read 45 minutes. Math Review Sheet for students who need practice. Get Weekly Progress Report and AR reports signed.

4th Quarter New Goals – It’s Panthers’ time to shine! Students are now required to read 45 minutes every night instead of 40. Stamina is so important for reading! Students continue to submit 3 Achieve articles at 88% or higher and 1 Thought Question per week. Students who have met the 63 point AR goal are required to submit 2 Thought Questions per week. AR requirements continue to be the same: 4 tests or 2 AR points per week. So far, 4th graders are rising to the occasion!

Egg Drop – Thank you so much for all the supplies you sent in this past week. The only things we may need more of are popsicle sticks and Scotch tape. If you have time to pick some up this weekend, we appreciate it! Friday we started learning more about the Scientific Method and watched some videos on experiments. This week we are forming teams and coming up with cool team names and also planning or sketching our ideas for the egg capsule. Construction will be the next two Fridays with the Egg Drop Day being the last Friday in April. We are so excited!

Soccer – Come out and support the Rosebank Panthers Soccer team. Their last home game is this Tues. April 12 at 4:00! See you there!

Happy belated birthday shout-outs to Nick, Ryleigh and Rebecca!

Thank you, parents, for everything you do at home. It certainly takes a village. Please don’t hesitate to call or email with any questions or concerns. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a great week ahead, Panthers! 🙂 Mrs. King
