Greetings, Panthers! I hope you’re enjoying your 3-day weekend! Remember that there is no school on Monday for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. We are thankful for Dr. King’s achievements and legacy without which we wouldn’t all be learning and playing together at school today.
Weekly Progress Report/AR Report (yellow) – Please take a look at your child’s reports sent home Friday. The front shows their Achieve3000 progress. Students should now be completing 3 articles at 88% and one Thought Question by Fridays. The yellow AR Report has your child’s new individual points goal for the quarter and how they did on their tests for the week. Please speak with your child about Core Values if they are making bad choices.
Symphony Field Trip – Upper graders have a wonderful opportunity to visit the symphony in February! The permission slip had a typo on the date. It will be on Thurs. Feb. 18 not Jan. 18. Please complete and return the permission slip and $5 trip donation by the deadline Feb. 10. Thank you to those early-birds who have already turned it in!
