Week 16: Working Hard in 502

Greetings, Rosebank families! One more week of school till Thanksgiving Break! The class has been working very hard this quarter!

Annual Canned Food Drive – Thank you for your donations so far! We have had two students donate. Please consider donating some canned, boxed, or bagged non-perishable items from your pantry for the needy. Students may deposit into our classroom box by the door. Last day is this Friday!

Yellow Federal Survey Paper – This was sent home last Thursday. Please complete, sign and return as soon as possible. Students who return will receive a Homework Pass good for any Math or Spelling page this quarter. Thank you!

GATE Family Night – will be Tues. Nov. 17 from 6:00-7:30 in the multipurpose room. Your GATE student will present his/her project they have been working on for the last five weeks.  See you there!

Math Ch. 5 Post Test Factors and Multiples – The students took this test last week. Only 3 students passed at 75% or higher. However, all students showed awesome growth from their pretest a couple of weeks ago. Have your child log on to Think Central at home to show you their scores. I will send home their math scores with their report card in Dec. Please congratulate your child on continuing to pay attention in class, do their work, and ask for help when needed. Keep up the good work, Panthers, and thank you parents for your assistance at home.

Thanksgiving Break – There will be no school next week Nov. 23-27 in honor of Thanksgiving. I will send home a short review/practice packet and the beginning of our Book Jacket Project. We return Mon. Nov. 30.

Have a great week, Panthers! Stay warm. ~ Mrs. King 🙂
