Thank you so much to those of you who attended last night’s Back to School Night. If you weren’t able to attend, here are the links to the Powerpoints below.

Mrs. King’s Back to School Powerpoint

Mr. Vickers’ Back to School Powerpoint

Lunch Applications – We are highly encouraging all families to turn in one school lunch application (pink).  If we get 100% of the applications turned in, our school will be able to receive FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH for ALL STUDENTS for the NEXT FIVE YEARS! So, if you haven’t turned one in, please, please do so.  Students have been given another application just for this purpose.  Thank you for taking the time to do that this weekend and turn it in Monday or early next week.  Or save time and apply online! Click here.

Weekly Progress Report – Please remember to ask your child for their report today if they don’t immediately hand it to you! Review with your child, sign, and return Monday.

Math Quizzes – On Monday, I will be sending home our first Math Quizzes from last week and from today. Please review with your child, sign, and return the next day.  Remember that students may be learning something new and that they are just getting back from a long summer.  Keep Growth Mindset in mind and use this as a springboard for progress in the future. Thank you!

Upcoming Event – I Love a Clean San Diego’s Coastal Clean-Up – Sat. 9/20 (tomorrow) Join me and my family and other volunteers from 9:00-12:00 to help our environment. Meet at the Sweetwater River by Westfield Plaza Bonita. Bring a bucket, reusable water bottle, gloves, hat, sunscreen. Hope to see you tomorrow! Click here for more info on their website and to register.

Thank goodness for the weather cooling down a bit. Have a great weekend! ~ Mrs. King 🙂
