Please plan to attend our Back to School Night this Wed. for grades K-3 and Thurs. for grades 4-6. It starts at 6:00 p.m. Normally, we would meet in the auditorium; however, the sound system is still being installed and will not be ready for Back to School night unfortunately. Please go directly to your child’s classroom.
Last week, students practiced getting into routine with homefun. If they forgot or didn’t complete, they received a reminder but no actual consequence. This week, I will be starting to hold them accountable for their homefun. Please help them strengthen their homefun routine at home by establishing a homework time and place every night, especially their Reading Every Night. Rewards and consequences for homefun, or lack thereof, will be in effect starting Monday. Thank you for your help at home.
On Friday, I sent home a Weekly Progress Report about your child’s behavior, work habits, and class participation. Please sign and have your child sign and return on Monday. Please expect these to come home every Friday, and have a conversation with your child regarding their progress.

My daughter just joined, and she is loving playing recorder (provided) and later violin (provided). Materials provided and certified music instruction for a minimal fee. Music is making a huge comeback into schools. It’s an exciting time!
